Created By Louisiana Attorneys, For Louisiana Attorneys

Louisiana Form Libraries

ESTATE PLANNING

GeauxCounsel’s most refined library. We have a robust selection of Louisiana Wills, Trusts, and ancillary documents, including Powers of Attorney, Healthcare Directives, and “Funding” documents necessary to properly integrate assets with a Living Trust. GeauxCounsel’s Estate Planning Library is designed to accommodate almost every planning scenario.

BUSINESS PLANNING

This library offers the most commonly used forms for business planning lifecycle from organization to liquidation, including commonly used forms to maintain employee and owner relations, such as employment agreements, buy-sell agreements, asset or stock purchase agreements. We will continue to enhance this library based on the needs of our members.

SUCCESSIONS

Successions are a natural compliment to an estate planning practice. This library contains all necessary documents to handle successions with and without administration, including small succession affidavits, renunciations, and special petitions to sell assets and pay estate debts. Built-in logic computes Detailed Descriptive List values based on characterization of property. The Successions Library streamlines the entire process for both attorney and client.

Geaux Local

GeauxCounsel's forms were developed organically from the ground up by a Louisiana attorney who is a specialist in both Estate Planning & Administration, and Tax Law (certified by the Louisiana State Board of Specialization). These forms are used on a daily basis in the founder's high volume practice, as well as other Louisiana law firms.

Trustworthy

GeauxCounsel forms have been fully vetted and used for years in a premier-rated law practice prior to making these libraries available to GeauxCounsel Members. Forms are updated frequently to reflect law changes and planning enhancements.

Cost Effective

The task of automating legal forms is tedious, time-consuming, and expensive. Development costs are measured in hundreds of thousands of dollars, which is cost-prohibitive for most attorneys, and makes very little sense compared to the affordable cost of utilization through GeauxCounsel. GeauxCounsel's founder incurred the cost out of necessity in a high volume practice - because there was no other available solution for Louisiana. GeauxCounsel Members get full access to forms for a fraction of the cost. GeauxCounsel can also reduce costs as a single person can produce more documents through GeauxCounsel than a team of paralegals.

Continual Enhancements

We care about our forms because we also use them in practice! We always strive for improvements, which may stem from improved planning techniques, changes in law, or feedback from our Members. We have dedicated staff and developers across the globe for this purpose. We understand and appreciate that well-drafted legal documents and pleadings are the foundation of a law practice, and for this reason, GeauxCounsel forms are like fine wine. They get better with age.

GEAUXCOUNSEL FORMS ARE BETTER.

There are many sources for legal forms. Almost all originate outside the State of Louisiana, and for this reason fall short. GeauxCounsel forms were created from the ground up by a Louisiana attorney for use in private practice.

The greatest benefit of GeauxCounsel is peace of mind knowing that our legal documents will be produced consistently and accurately with very little potential for drafting mistakes, whether generated by a practicing attorney, or a paralegal under supervision of a practicing attorney.

Efficiency increases capacity, which allows more time for business development, or simply a better work-life balance.

At the end of the day, when we clock out as lawyers, we can rest easy knowing all is well in the legal drafting universe.
